Dilara Sümbül is a writer from San Francisco, and a junior at Sequoia High School. Her work can be found in the Bluefire Journal, the Black Sea Zine, and the Stanford Anthology. Most of her writing focuses on character and atmosphere, specifically with emphasis on different forms of connection. Dilara belongs to the Emerging Writers Institute at Stanford University, and has studied at the School of the New York Times. When she is not writing, she can be found writing letters, reading, journaling, and taking walks.
