Staff applications are currently open.

Are you interested in creative writing, editorial work, marketing, or just engaging with emerging voices?

We are accepting applications for the following positions on a rolling basis until spots are filled (this page will be updated accordingly). Priority will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis. There are no restrictions on who may apply.

At this time, all staff roles are remote and volunteer-based.

SOCIAL MEDIA DIRECTOR

The Social Media Director is responsible for running our Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and other social media platforms, as well as improving marketing and outreach strategy. Responsibilities include designing social media graphics and other promotional material, so experience with graphic design and/or Adobe Creative Suite is highly recommended.

STAFF WRITER – CLOSED TEMPORARILY
Staff Writers will produce regular articles for the “Features” section, including creative pieces, blog articles, reviews, and interview spotlights. Responsibilities include writing content, communicating with the Content Director, and proposing article ideas to pursue.

POETRY READER – CLOSED Temporarily

Poetry Readers are the first to review and vote on all poetry submissions, and they will be responsible for communicating their thoughts on each piece with the Poetry Editor and other Readers. Other responsibilities may include discussing their views on submissions over editorial meetings. This role is ideal for applicants with little to no previous editorial experience but a strong interest in the genre and high motivation to learn.

PROSE READER – CLOSED Temporarily

Prose Readers are the first to review and vote on all fiction and creative nonfiction submissions, and they will be responsible for communicating their thoughts on each piece with the respective Editors and other Readers. Other responsibilities may include discussing their views on submissions over editorial meetings. This role is ideal for applicants with little to no previous editorial experience but a strong interest in the genre and high motivation to learn.
