Sarah Yang is from New Jersey and is currently a freshman at the University of California Irvine. Her poetry has been awarded by the National Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, the Poetry Society of the United Kingdom, and National Poetry Quarterly. Her work appears or is forthcoming in Yes, Poetry, Bitter Melon Magazine, Up the Staircase Quarterly, and Whale Road Review.
