R.F. Pangborn

R.F. Pangborn started out doing fan art and slowly arrived at the realization of art as a means to explore and tackle the issues of his anxiety and depression. His art now leans towards more the therapeutic and the imagery originates more from, improvisation, self reflection, and the eternal dilemmas of the human condition. 'People are fond of asking me what my nightmares must be like but, the fact is, after the emotional rollercoaster of creating a piece, I sleep like a baby. Something has been exorcised." R.F. currently works from his home in the Tampa Bay area and is a card carrying member of The Dark Arts Society, founded by Chet Zar. "I feel safe there and not subject to the usual ' is this the cat's puke?' reaction and surprisingly harsh judgement that I was accustomed to from the mainstream art community.
